Subject: From Brad Houslet/Brian Lipscomb: May 18th MAG Meeting & Ongoing Schedule for 2009
Importance: High

Members Advisory Group:

At the March MAG meeting, Chairman Houslet requested the MAG's consideration toward changing the monthly MAG meeting day to an alternate day of the month for the 2009 meetings.  Chairman Houslet expressed that he was experiencing conflicts with the current meeting schedule.  At the March meeting some dates were suggested and it was intended for CBFWA staff to poll MAG members using the online tool "Doodle."  That poll was put on hold to allow Brian Lipscomb and Chairman Houslet an opportunity to discuss the alternate dates as some of the dates suggested were in conflict with other processes involving CBFWA MAG members and CBFWA staff.

At the April 21st MAG meeting, Chairman Houslet offered, and the MAG members in attendance agreed, to move the monthly MAG meetings to the third Monday of each month and instead of meeting from 9:00am-12:00pm, the MAG would meet from 1:00-4:00 p.m.

This change will take effect with the May MAG meeting and is intended to continue throughout 2009 unless there is a sign i ficant number of MAG members unable to accommodate the "third Monday afternoon" schedule.   If this change creates an ongoing scheduling conflict for any MAG member, please advise by replying to this email (pat.burgess@cbfwa.org).
