Short description
Acquisition of 2, 1 00 acres in the Lake Creek watershed. This project is intended to mitigate for wildlife habitat losses related to construction and operation of Albeni Falls Dam and to compliment the existing habitat restoration program. Credit would apply to both the wildlife and resident fish substitution programs. The program calls for the management of 250 acres of wetland and riparian habitat as a wildlife reserve with the remaining acreage managed with restrictive regulations to ensure habitat conservation.
