Project history
FY l992: The COE began design and oversight of construction of juvenile fish monitoring facilities at Bonneville Dam.
FY 1993: Started environmental and design work.
FY 1994, 1995: Continued design and environmental work.
These facilities were designed to allow for the evaluation of fish survival, transit time, and assessing various recovery strategies.
Biological results achieved
Project is on hold pending completion of siting evaluation of outfall -- will re-start in FY1996
Combined smolt monitoring facility began designed in FY 1996. Complete plans and specs in FY 1997.
