Reviews and recommendations

This information was not provided on the original proposals, but was generated during the review process.

Date:

Comment:

This proposal for mapping does not address imminent risks to ESA stocks by offering direct on-the-ground benefits with one-time funding. The proposal did not adequately describe why LCREP is now proposing to do this detailed mapping after their report is out (with similar maps) or demonstrate that past mapping projects by the US Army Corps of Engineers are not adequate.

This is a data collection effort and will not provide any direct benefits to anadromous fish.

Project not recommended through provincial review, special Council recommendation. Project should close? No funds beyond this year, but will have one month accrual for 04, perhaps $4K.
