Biological Outcomes of this project: Increase survival of migrating juvenile and adult salmon and steelhead will result from providing increased passage flows for in and out migrating ChF, ChS, SS, and Coho during critical spring and fall migrations seasons.
Biological Data: Survivals of subyearlings have been computed since year 1 under 8902400. Difficult to isolate flow from several other variables that affect survival (i.e. - temperature, hatchery condition), though current survival improvements are thought to be the result of better flow and temperature conditions. Studies to date concentrate on overall survival rather than individual variables.
