Protection of high priority floodplain habitat for the benefit of anadromous salmonids in the upper Yakima Basin.   11/1/2006  9/30/2007  10/1/2007  9/30/2009  Funding for YSC habitat protection work was approved in March 13th 2007, creating the need to reschedule funding to the FY07-09 period. The lengthy time neccessary to perform acquisition work is the impetus for this reschedule.  $500,000  The ability to utilize YSC funding in the FY07-09 period. 

Please explain why the following alternative funding solutions are not feasible and would jeopardize the project:
Reducing existing scope of project
(i.e., eliminating some activities planned for FY 2007 to accommodate the FY 2006 activities)
Shifting entire schedule
(i.e., deferring some FY 2007 activities to FY 2008 to avoid doubling up on activities this year)
