Please explain why the following alternative funding solutions are not feasible and would jeopardize the project:
Reducing existing scope of project
(i.e., eliminating some activities planned for FY 2007 to accommodate the FY 2006 activities)
This would prevent completing much of the similar new work planned in FY08.
Shifting entire schedule
(i.e., deferring some FY 2007 activities to FY 2008 to avoid doubling up on activities this year)
This would prevent completing as much work on the ground in as timely a manner. There is no problem with the ability to implement both the rescheduled and the new contract work within the same period of time since this is not a lot of work relative to our abilty to implement it.
