That sounds fine. I think that we have to submit a preschedule request through the BOG, though. It will still be BPA’s decision, but we need to track that decision and make the Council aware of it… Can you either submit the request or have someone at GRMW do it?

I discovered that GRMW is over their FY07 Capital budget. I think when we did the special habitat $ movement we miscalculated what we'd need. We started one contract in 07 for 300K and then we recently started another for 101,819 for FY08.

I spoke with Chris Read and she suggested I work with you and get your approval to shift these funds around so it correctly reflects the capital budget in the PISCES tool.

What I propose is move 300K from FY09 to FY07. ~ Tracy

Capital project engineering  9/10/2007  12/31/2008    12/31/2009  We miscalculated what we'd need. for the special habitat $ movement we ancipated for capital planning and design contract in 07 for 300K.  $300,000  capital planning and design - Subcontractor to provide all services and products necessary to complete final designs for selected projects on the Capital Projects list. Items like: Site surveys * Alternative analysis * Technical input * Landowner meetings * Preliminary designs * Preliminary costs estimates * Final designs * Bid documents * Contract preparation and advertisement * Construction inspection 

Please explain why the following alternative funding solutions are not feasible and would jeopardize the project:
Reducing existing scope of project
(i.e., eliminating some activities planned for FY 2008 to accommodate the FY 2007 activities)
Cannot reduce existing scope, all this planning and design needs to take place especially with the incrased BiOp projects and funding coming soon.
Shifting entire schedule
(i.e., deferring some FY 2008 activities to FY 2009 to avoid doubling up on activities this year)
Won't be shifting entire schedule.
