(abbreviation)
Full Description
Habitat protection The property to be acquired is the last inholding within a 2,800 acre management unit. Acquisition will complete continuous public ownership of 13 miles of river frontage and assure no future fragmentation of riparian habitat occurs. Due to location within a river bend, the 35 acres provide one mile of shoreline habitat. Acquisition will provide additional HU's in the riparian forest habitat type, which is severely limiting within the subbasin.
